Happy New Year!
We are celebrating the the arrival of 2014 with an updated, more modern and crisp look and structure for our newsletters and website. The menu is simpler and subscription and student registration links are always available on every page.
We've added some more graphics and now the video content is more friendly for tablets and phones with links that will allow those interested to view video using YouTube. Now when a Mentor logs inn he will not only be able to read and print lesson plans and view a lesson's video briefing, but now he can print pledge forms, sign in sheets or refer to the Mentor Handbook.
As you can see, now you can share every newsletter with your Facebook and Twitter communities simply by clicking a link at the top at each newsletter. Works just like clicking "share" on Facebook, itself, and without me having to post it on the website first.
Not visible to you, but important to the organization is our new all in one web connected member data base, so no more having to change information in several places to update our Mentor, Speaker, Scholar and Board Member information and we can send a message to any combination of groups based on information in the file, not having to bother anyone else.
My son, Omari, who provided technical savvy during his time home over the holiday, while not impressed with the old look, was quite impressed with how the Silverback Society's operations are website based and how efficient that makes our operation.
So check out SilverbackSociety.com and share any ideas how we can make it better... and have a great 2014
